Feng Chen,was born in 1986 in Wuhan .Graduated from the Department of New Media Art of the China Academy of Art in 2009 and joined a two-year program at the Rijksakademie in the Netherlands as artist-in-residence from 2014 to 2015.Now work in Amsterdam and Hangzhou.Feng questions the manipulative power of media. He takes cameras apart and reconstructs them, altering the way they operate and represent the world. He dissects the synchronisation between visuals and audio, inserting a wedge between the different senses, leading us to question which sense we should trust. In the end, the truth may very well lie halfway.
