Noffice (WEI Haoyan + ZHU Ye) established in Chongqing in December, 2005, based on Urban design, Architecture and Sociology, Noffice is focusing on urban common space, especially street space. “N” shows a open possibility towards the research subject, methodology and result. NOffice has edited two issues of Urban China: Street Ecology, and the Ten Years Municipality of Chongqing. They also took their research results to several exhibitions. From 2014 onwards, NOFFICE lanuched the project "NVQA"（Noffice-Micro Questions-Answers）via the Wechat public platform. "NVQA" invited more than 60 scholars and experts in the field of urban design and architecture, to answer all kinds of profession-related questions in the way of free talk. So far,  190 questions have been well discussed and answered through the "NVQA".

嗯工作室（魏皓严＋朱晔），2005年12月成立于重庆，以城市设计、建筑学和社会学等为基础，研究城市公共空间尤其是街道空间。“嗯”表明了对研究对象、方法与结果的可能性的开放。嗯工作室的共同研究成果包括《城市中国》的《街道生态》、《十年重庆》专辑，并参加了一系列展览。从2014年起，嗯工作室利用微信公共平台，发起了“嗯微问答”项目：邀约城市与建筑学等学科的60位学者专家，组成自由的答题团，以网络聊天的方式回答来自网络各类专业问题。至今历时两年多，已经答题190余次，订阅人数近万人，总点击数已近百万。

Zhu Ye, male, was born in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province in October, 1973. He is an independent artist and curator, as well as an urban researcher.Graduated from Architecture and Urban Planning Faculty of Chongqing University with a bachelor’s degree in 1997.In December 2005, he established NOFFICE to carry out the study on urban feasibility.From 2007 to 2009, as the executive editor of Urban China magazine.From 2007 to 2011, he was named the Commentator of the Year in Architecture Industry by Time+Architecture and Construction Times.From Dec.2012 to Apr.2014, he worked in Guangzhou Times Culture Complex Art Center as the Art Director.He is now associate professor of the Sschool of the Architect & Applied Arts, as well as the deputy director in Urban and Architecture Research Center of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts.In 2008, he co-curated the Chinese Session of The Street Belongs to All of Us! World Tour, and The Fifth Shenzhen & Hong Kong Bi-city Biennale of Contemporary Urbanism/Architecture in 2013. As the curator of The City Pavilion of 10th Shanghai Biennale 2014. He is also the author of Everyday Life of City.

朱晔，男， 1973年10月出生于江苏无锡。独立艺术家与策展人，城市研究者。

1997年毕业于重庆大学建筑城规学院建筑系。

2005年12月组建“嗯工作室”进行城市可能性研究。

2005年7月起至2009年任《城市中国》执行主编。

2007至2011年《时代建筑》、《建筑时报》年度城市建筑行业大事点评人。

2012年12月至2014年4月任广州时代地产·国际单位艺术中心总监。

现任广州美术学院城市建筑艺术研究中心副主任，建筑艺术设计学院副教授。

2008年“街道是我们大家的！”全球巡展中国区联合策展人；2013年第五届深港城市\

建筑双城双年展联合策展人；2014年第十届上海双年展城市馆策展人。著有《城市日常生活》。

Wei Haoyan. Doctor of City Planning，professor of The Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning，Chongqing University. Tutor of doctoral candidates. Chinese Certified Urban planner. Partner of Noffice. His professional field is urban design and urban morphology. In recent years, he is focusing on walkable urban design and morphology of streets network.

魏皓严，城市规划与设计博士，重庆大学建筑城规学院教授，博士生导师，注册城市规划师，嗯工作室合伙人。钻研城市设计与城市形态，近年来专注于步行城市设计与街道网络形态。
